Book Review: The Dark Lord's Guide to Dating (And Other War Crimes) by Tiffany Hunt Thank you to NetGalley and Scarlett Press for the advance reader copy of this book. I requested this book because I read it had the same energy as The Assistant to the Villain but spicier. Boy, did it deliver. This book was laugh out loud funny, tickled my villainous side, and had me kicking my feet with glee. The Dark Lord kidnaps a bride because she has the heroic bloodline but he got more than he bargained for in Arabella. Arabella had already survived being imprisoned in her father's tower and a lifetime of being treated like property. Now she is determined to live life on her own terms and she makes some demands of her own when she is kidnapped by the Dark Lord Kazimir. Now Kaz find that he must date his own wife and try to do seduce her. He fails at every turn. This book has been one of my favorite reads so far this year. If you love a morally grey anti-hero, a FMC that doesn't need to be rescued, and touch her and die vibes; this book is for you. My favorite parts of this book were the wicked banter, the spice and an only one bed situation which led to some of my most favorite excerpts. (Think failed pillow wall.) Add in some jealous exes and a surprise twist- what more could you ask for? Besides another book?!
