Published in print Artego: SAILORS 2.0
My grandfather, a sailor, is the anchor that was lifted from the bottom of the sea to set this project sailing. Who are we who sail the internet? I like to imagine us as SAILORS 2.0.
Every website, every link, is like an unexplored island. There are routes we know by heart and others that push us into the eye of the storm, risking to make us sink. My research starts here. The constant navigation of a brave sailor who, with care and attention, finds himself navigating the currents of life, but also of the web, discovering new currents, getting lost but always finding his way back.
The importance of learning to swim in these waters, which are not always clear and which sometimes threaten to take away everything we have. Knowing how to approach a reality that seems simple but in reality hides many secrets.
Fears, new routes to follow, and at the same time a great desire: to find your own route and dock in a safe harbor after a long journey.
A logbook of a journey that will lead the sailor to discover new horizons.
