Very happy to present *Lo que sabemos, pero no podemos ver*, an artistic research project in collaboration with curator
@annadusi_curator . This project takes as its starting point the history of the neo-zapatista movements in Mexico, and photographs from the collection of the
@cimagen in Mexico City, to question the weaving of memory, historical narratives and counter-narratives of resistance that can emerge through the photographic image, which is at once a trace of the past, testimony and proof, but also a source of contradictory interpretations and a powerful ideological tool.
Through filmed interviews, the artist sets up a dialogue between photographs of the neozapatista movements and witnesses close to the events (photographers, academics, activist, archivist, student and curator), invited to share their gaze.
