I’ve had an absolute blast doing a number of designs for the AWESOME Team over at @prime1studio this past year, and when they asked me if I wanted to design this “Darkseid on Throne” statue I said HELLYEAH!!! 🤘😆🤘
… as a ginormous Fan of Jack Kirby’s work, it was so much fun to jump into that world and play with his trippy Brutalist/Totemic aesthetic!
… Prime1 ALWAYS knocks it out of the park with all their statues, but seeing how they took my doodles and made THIS, is nothing short of humbling in the best way possible!!!

… here’s another one from the “Arkham vaults” … Ra’s was a tricky character to design and finding a good balance between something that felt ornate and somewhat “ceremonial”, and something that felt practical… did quite a few versions of good ol Ra’s playing around with what he should or shouldn’t be wearing. 🤔

… here’s another Arkham City design I’m not sure was printed or shown before… 🤔 … since Calendar Man is fairly simple and straight forward, I thought adding one of those old school leg braces that look practically “medieval” would help add to the kinda’ brutal 70’s low-tech aesthetic I was aiming for since the original game…. Something the new movie seems to like! 😉
