Iām the product of teen parents and Iām certain many considered me an accident. I went with my grandmother and cleaned baseboards while she cleaned houses. I rode the L train to school in Chicago with my cousins. I walked down Tidwell and Homestead to school. These past 2 days have been mentally monumental for me because For one of the first times In my life I understand and believe that I am not an accident. More came from my womb than I couldāve ever imagined.
Yes, Iāve accomplished a few things but it hits different when your fruit is just as good on tha inside as it is on the outside. Skylahn, baby you will always be Mommyās greatest accomplishment.
I didnāt have a manual but I always went with what felt right for us. I didnāt even know Howard existed when I graduated from high school. This is just an example of what more looks like for me.
