Btw the @mortalkombatmovie is actually amazing! It is so referential and true to the game, especially the set design and finishing moves. It was honestly so engaging, campy and fun. The film definitely earns that R-rating in those fight scenes. If you are a fan of Mortal Kombat you are going to love the movie!

The biggest shock I had for this costume was that there is over 13 meters of silver trim on this design. I ran out on the final day when I still needed 2 meters and this is a trim that I can only get online. So I had to use spare silver fabric in the interim that I got from @ashen.ember to make the boot trim and arm bands.
Still need to do modifications to this costume to get it to the point where I want it to be, especially with the wig that I had to crimp and style in less than an hour 😬.
The biggest blessing was that @kaylajeancosplay gave me her old katana costume for me to use as a base reference to pattern off of, as well as the completed fans.
