Capturing our life-size Polly Pocket adventure in a rare (and kitschy) post. ✨💜
We dressed up like dolls, met new friends, crafted charm bracelets and captured (possibly invented) the real-life Polly walk-hop.
Thank you, @airbnb , for turning all our ‘90s girl dreams into reality!
Petrified Forest, 2019.
@michaelseymourblake and I almost got lost trying to get to this trailhead. After signing a “it’s not on us if you perish” waiver, we accidentally went off road in our Nissan Versa rental and stumbled across a pocket of creepily quiet backcountry cabins complete with still-warm coffees sitting out. Eventually we made our way out into an ancient, otherworldly desert and didn’t see another soul for 8 hours. #2019 #petrifiedforest #nationalpark @petrifiedforestnps
Meow Wolf, Denver aka Convergence Station — a 4-story immersive art exhibition with 70+ unique installations, rooms, and portals into different worlds. We went as skeptics but it was pretty elaborate, disorientating and kinda magical. It took over 300 creatives three years to build and it shows. We spent about 3 hours there but could have spent a lot more. #meowwolf #meowolfdenver

Thank you all for making and sending me such eye candy. 😍
Wow! It’s been almost 3 years since my last social media post. For those of you who may have noticed, I have been on a long hiatus. However, with so many friends entering new chapters (moving further away, having kids, and doing the life thing) I’ve missed seeing those little moments, so here I am again for now 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 #grandcanyon #2019
I haven’t posted in awhile. I have been detoxing from social media, but I’ll leave you with this tbt. @michaelseymourblake and I 5 years ago today... Happy Thanksgiving, all.
Sometimes an animal comes into your life and you know it's one of the extra special ones. You've loved others, sure, but a few just dig a little deeper.
_______________
We put Bob down yesterday. Kidney disease sucked the energy out of him and withered his body away. After two severe crashes and a seizure, we couldn't continue to battle for his life at the cost of his constant discomfort. Pills shoved down his throat morning and night, shots, subcutaneous fluids, constant adjustments and additions and blood work and force feeding carbohydrate-rich gels to sustain him until his unstable appetite returned. After a late night emergency vet visit, we decided.
_______________
We spent the night on the living room floor with him since he couldn't move much. In the morning, Michael and I squeezed each other tightly, letting everything go, suppressing nothing. It was both awful and beautiful.
_______________
If you've ever loved a pet deeply and made a similar decision, our thoughts are forever with you. We are crushed. This pain will be branded on our hearts for the rest of our lives.
_______________
Afterwards, we walked and talked and ended up at Carvel, which is fitting because that's where the three of us went the day we picked him up for the first time.
_______________
Bob will forever be the king of lap cats.
