@bienalsaopaulo Our Senior Curator, Nimah Muwakil-Zakuri will make a presentation this afternoon at the Ciccillo Matarazzo pavilion at Ibirapuera Park on the work of the museum over the past 5 years and present two films featuring the work of two local artists/filmmakers.
This year the Bienal features the work of Trinidad and Tobago Artist and Curator, Christopher Cozier.
@ccozier50 His installation is entitled “After the Appeal Will Come the Next Delivery” featuring soundscape by
@cozier.wav - using the game of cricket as a metaphor Cozier examines how the dynamics of local, regional and global power structures play out in real life.
The museum’s work extends beyond our walls. We develop educational programs for schools, host exhibitions that connect economic history to contemporary issues, and support cultural initiatives that celebrate our artistic heritage. We believe that understanding where we have been helps us navigate where we are going as a nation. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our work on this global stage and we thank the Bienal and its curatorial team led by
