None of the songs on the album are professionally mastered, well the album as a whole project was not professionally mastered. Some of the tracks are finished pieces, some are raw files, some MP3, some stems and I’ve worked with whatever I could and that’s a big part of the album and taking control of my music; what the end results of Seraphina means to me. The reason it’s taken so long to put Seraphina out, was because my music was taken out of my control many a times ~ so this album feels like being on a toddler journey to adulthood , taking the baby steps in doing it my way but so that it makes way for new music and all the exciting ideas that I’ve had for many years and have had to sit on quietly, patiently.
(I have so much music stacked, as any creative we have a catalogue of music in the vault awaiting and it’s so exciting I’m about to share so much more of it 🪄)
So when you listen to Seraphina not only is the music literally raw, it’s coming from a raw place of gathering so many different spaces places and times of when I’ve created that music and now bringing it to the surface ~ creating this really beautiful experience and existence of my music so that I can close that chapter of this decade of growth. To flourish in all the exciting things that God has a waiting for me 🕊️❤️🔥
