Toronto & 3 femmes badass in their own way. @madam_ariane @mariam.jrd , on en a parlé mais votre unicité, votre intelligence, ce que vous portez et incarnez à votre façon... c’est inspirant. C’est empowering de côtoyer des femmes qui savent qui elles sont — malgré les questionnements — et qui se voient les unes les autres. Pas dans leur utilité, pas dans la comparaison. Dans leur existence. You queens 🤍 La sororité me rappelle pourquoi la connexion est ce que j’ai de plus cher — et en même temps, ça me confronte à ses limites. Je cherche l’intersectionnalité dans ma communauté nocturne. Je la vois — elle existe — mais elle reste minoritaire. Je témoigne aussi de mes propres cercles, majoritairement blancs. Ça me trouble. Le bro code tient fort entre les hommes cis pendant que les femmes cis s’envi­ent et se jugent de la tête au pied — that’s fucked up. On gagnerait tellement plus à se concevoir dans notre complexité entière. Je lis bell hooks, Audre Lorde, Amandine Gay. Un projet intersectionnel commence à prendre forme — rien de décidé encore, mais si quelque chose résonne, mes DMs sont ouverts. En ce moment il y a une douleur qui prend beaucoup de place. Pas le genre qu’on analyse pour s’en sortir — celle qui résiste à la réflexion, qui ne retient rien, qui recommence - chaque matin. Tout le défi est de ne pas la laisser atteindre ce qu’on est vraiment. Et pourtant à côté : des projets, des gens, des moments qui comptent. Les deux coexistent. C’est épuisant et c’est réel. Mon paradoxe le plus constant : j’aime mon indépendance. Mais je commence à voir ce qu’elle me coûte. À force d’incarner celle qui gère, qui n’a besoin de rien, on finit par rendre sa propre détresse inaccessible. Et on se retrouve seule — pas parce qu’on n’est pas aimée, mais parce qu’on a trop bien appris à ne pas demander. Le monde est lourd. Ça aussi c’est réel, et on fait tous avec. La gratitude est là malgré tout — dans les amitiés qui tiennent, dans les gens qui show up. I’m working on nurturing it. — Quelques dates dans le lot des photos — avril et mai s’annoncent fun. BKiND Round 93: @ccil.mp3 now on SoundCloud ☁️💗 ccil is a Montreal-based DJ and member of T.I.T.S, a collective promoting FLINTA* producers within the local scene. Refusing to confine herself to one genre, she moves between hardgroove, acid, ghetto & hard house, trance, bounce, and raw techno, playing with contrast and surprise. Her sets are physical, precise, and sometimes cheeky. Rather than chasing constant intensity, she focuses on progression — shaping rhythm, texture, and tempo in response to the atmosphere and collective energy. For her, DJing is an ongoing research process: refining a personal language while keeping the dancefloor alert and in motion. This project started from a realization: I had very few FLINTA* producers in my library. Actively digging and listening with intention led me to discover powerful music and artists I can truly look up to within the techno and underground scene. That felt important. Conceptually, I layered archival interviews from Radio-Canada (1969) discussing the term “vieilles filles” (“spinsters”). Some comments are limiting, others surprisingly hopeful. The looped sentence says: “She can provide for herself. Started the year with a memorable b2b with @meenmoreen . Morena… should we finally release that recorded set? 😛 As always, thank you for the trust @noreiner_ 2026 is taking me somewhere between determination and freefall. I’ve felt both extremely focused & completely suspended in the unknown. Music has been an anchor and a force far beyond me. Discipline in the booth, while parts of life quietly rearrange themselves. There’s something strange about holding structure and vulnerability at once. Broadening my musical landscape with intention, while other parts of you dissolve and reform. It’s not always easy. But I’m grateful for ALL of it. For the gigs. 4 hours at @lesalondaome with @unplugged.mtl aka @maxi6223 on that soundsystem… what a treat 🍬. For the friends who show up and hold space - some of u even have a fidelity card for my dj nonsense(!!!). For my therapist, who gives me space to unpack the weirdest corners of my brain. For the quiet things too. Walking. Reading. Sunlight in my room. Learning about polymeters vs polyrhythms. Meeting generous, talented people like @klausedai (curator of @hedo.nir , @a__and.re . Friends and amoureuse like @agathebjn who look at me with unconditional love. & hb to my kindred big sister @77baileyb 🤍 All of it gives me more reason to purge, release & transform that energy in parties and raves. 2026 already feels like renewal. Like something rising from ashes I didn’t fully see burning. My motto seems to be: i’m going to enjoy every single second of it. Even & especially when it’s hard.
