Took a short trip to Auckland NZ with the fam and was lucky enough to visit the @ccg_pottery_ceramics store in Rosedale. I have shopped with these guys online for years and LOVE them, they have a huge range, always have stock, great customer service and fastest delivery ever like I’m talking 2 days (they use DHL!)
I couldn’t buy anything too big and bulky but it was just nice to see the shop in person and treat myself to a few goodies!

I’ve been having an absolute blast using Mayco Stroke and Coat on CCG bisqueware.
Some of my favourite things stoke and Coat about it:
• Speckles are an option
• Works across a huge firing range (these pots are cone 6)
• Colours can be mixed on the pot for smooth blends
• Can be painted on raw or bisque ware (and I mean freshly made greenware)
• The colour range is epic
• Practically foolproof, three coats and you are good to go
Painting isn’t usually my zone of genius, but I think these turned out pretty well. What do you think of my designs?
Mayco Rapid Roll was designed as a quick and efficient way to apply glaze to the inside of ware without thinning brushing glazes.
Fires glossy and dries quickly. It can be used on greenware, earthenware, or stoneware bisque and fired from cone 06- 6.
