LGBT HxC is a live album, a lil’ kiss goodbye and goodnight from shapez. There’s no overdubbed vocals so as the album goes on you can really feel Jardene coming apart at the seams. Have a listen, have a laugh and have a good time. Because life is short, sharp and shocking.
we’ll wrap the tour up, probably get sucked into one more AA show before alex finally heads across the ditch. Afterwards ya’ll can wax about how ya’s saw it before it was over, about how it was “so good” and how you “still have the t shirt.” For some of ya’s ittl be the first time that you’re saying old head shit. Honestly it’s cool to be that band. Shapez didn’t last long but I don’t care. The whole band was made on the principle of not caring. Hence the lack of wider promo and publicity haha.
Future plans: Alex will probably join another 6 bands and try make us tour in aus, Izak and Jardz will keep grinding the grind in the all ages scene making gigs happen for lil’ gronkz, all while tryna push more “palatable” bands.
Everything ends, but in the end, nothing really ends.

It was totally worth the trip up to watch these three be reunited on stage again.
Absolute chaos.
I've still got no clue which sickly goblin Jard swaps voices with to sing like that.

One of my favourite bands EVER.
May be local but in my heart this band, no. This lovely family is selling out stadiums. In my mind, cut shapez are a dream come true.
Fast, fun, energetic, funny, GOOD, what else could one want..
I honestly cried, atleast a tear or two when i heard this was their final show.
I saw them for the first time on April 26th at big fan.
Was eye opening.
My whole life changed in the moment i saw them, i began speaking with the LOVELY members may 18th, i met izak at a swampkult show. From there i met Jard at gret lynn library on June 15th, they recognised me from my pfp, before i even had my new one. I met Alex June 7th at the death of days swampkult show.
June 21st after a gig i hung out with them and got to know that the scene isnt all hustle bustle but instead a place to find yourself and your friends.
Find. A place of peace.
Eye opening.
Months have past and man. It feels like yesterday i first saw their greatness. These 3 people have been such an influence and great remark on my work, one of the strongest reasons i have kept doing what im doing so long.
Alex, Jard, Izak.
Legendary trio.
All of these moments led me and my work so so so far.
All these people.

As u may remember from our OG tour poster Cut Shapez had a “TBA” for November 2nd. It was gonna be 2 day all ages fest but then things changed and booking fests became less viable.
However, we will be playing a show @nicegoblins_collective instead with @chlorine.band and our Hawke’s Bay mates @postnatal.abortion instead, still all ages, but NOT our final show.
Costumes optional, if you do hit the dress up it has to absolutely suck tho
