What a wonderful morning celebrating Prom with our transition aged students.
A huge thank you to our incredible Transition Team for all of their hard work and dedication in creating such a fun and memorable event for our students. Your planning and care made the day truly special.
Thank you to all of the families who came for picture time and helped celebrate these meaningful moments with us. It was so special to see everyone together.
And to our students, you looked absolutely amazing. Your smiles, style, confidence, and joy lit up the room, and we are so proud of each and every one of you.
A huge thank you to Shubie’s for generously donating lunch for our amazing staff and faculty! Your kindness, support, and community spirit made our team feel truly appreciated. This Staff Appreciation Week, we celebrate the incredible teachers, therapists, nurses, faculty, and support staff who make our school community so special.
Your kindness, dedication, patience, and compassion make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every single day. Thank you for creating a supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.
We are grateful for all that you do and proud to have such an amazing team at CCCBSD.
CCCBSD student Luca loves any opportunity to work alongside maintenance team members Jim and Bob around campus. He always enjoys lending a helping hand and learning something new.
Happy Interpreter Appreciation Day to the most amazing team you could ever ask for!
Your dedication, compassion, and incredible skill make a difference every single day.
Thank you for the patience you show, the relationships you build, and the countless moments where you go above and beyond to support our community.
Today we celebrate you and the impact you make in so many lives. #interpreterappreciationday
Join us this Saturday, May 9th, for Session 2 of CCCBSD Adaptive Baseball. Register by scanning the QR code or visiting /community-programs/community-sports-programs/.
We are also looking for volunteers to help support the program.
Can’t make it this week? No worries, we hope to see you at one of the upcoming sessions, May 23 or May 30.
On May 2, 2026, the CaMK2 community observed the first-ever CaMK2 Awareness Day, uniting families, researchers, and advocates in hope for future treatments. At CCCBSD, we observed the occasion today by wearing florals and anything that blooms in honor of our students living with this diagnosis.
On Friday, we had the joy and honor of celebrating the graduation of our longtime BSD student, Jennifer. Having been part of CCCBSD since she was just 9 years old, she has truly grown up before our eyes, and it has been a privilege to watch her become the remarkable person she is today.
Jennifer has left her mark on our community in so many ways. Everyone knows that Wednesdays are for wearing pink—a tradition inspired by her love for the color and Mean Girls movie. But beyond that, we will remember her for her kindness, her sense of humor, her unique style, and the contagious joy she brought into every room. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead. Wishing Jennifer and her family endless happiness and success in this next chapter.
Happy National Therapy Animal Day!
We’re so grateful for Wylie and his wonderful owner, Wendy, for the joy, comfort, and connection they bring to our school. Wylie’s gentle presence makes a meaningful difference, and we’re so lucky to have them as part of our community. Thank you both for all you do! 🐾💙
