This collection is inspired by the oppression of Uyghurs, who have been detained and forced into labor in cotton fields. The use of blue, red, and black reflects dominance and control, while traditional Uyghur patterns symbolize cultural identity under pressure. The silhouettes are based on uniforms of authority figures—officials, businessmen, and military—to reflect power. Rigid, coarse fabrics convey a sense of restriction and entrapment, as if the wearer is burdened by an unseen force. Designer: @cc_daffy@cs__girl_

The inspiration for this design is deeply rooted in the culture and identity of the Hmong tribe, known for its intricate embroidery and use of traditional fabrics that reflect the community’s way of life. The silhouette of traditional Hmong attire has been reimagined and modernized to create a design that seamlessly blends the past with contemporary fashion.
The details of the outfit continue to honor the cultural heritage, such as the embroidered patterns commonly found in Hmong garments, which have been simplified and given a more modern dimension. New materials and techniques, such as beadwork, frayed fabrics, and a structure that accentuates the figure, have been incorporated to enhance the uniqueness of the design.
The ensemble also tells the story of the Hmong tribe’s beauty through dark, elegant tones and the use of a fur hat, symbolizing their close connection with nature. This design is more than just a fashion statement; it serves as a bridge between the past and the present, demonstrating respect for traditional culture while embracing modern creativity. @cs__girl_
