There’s a balance formula that we like to use: big, slim, skin. Since my skirt is “big”, I’m pairing it with something slim- my top and showing lots of skin -my arms and exposed feet 🦶. This doesn’t make me feel overwhelmed by so much fabric. 😎

you can see that I have combined a couple patterns, too. I have the leopard print jeans and a striped shirt. The stripe is so subtle it almost disappears. Which is the trick for mixing patterns, pretend it’s just a solid color and if you like the color combo, 🩷🤎, it will most likely work.

These are my first barrel jeans and I am appreciating the variety. 😌 Since they have lots of volume, I’m pairing them with a slim fitting vest. I also have chosen pointy toed shoes to create elongating. Last, my blazer is fitted at the waist, so it can accentuate the smallest parts of me. This balance make me feel more feminine. 🥰
