Trauma knows no age; it affects both young and old.
Through Mvura Nkuvure, CBS Rwanda stands with everyone, ensuring that even the young are seen, heard, and supported on their healing journey.
CBS Rwanda stands with all Rwandans and the global community in remembrance during the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Remember. Unite. Renew.

Rubavu celebrates transformation!
After 15 weeks in the Mvura Nkuvure program, four groups shared powerful stories of change. In this conviviality session, local leaders joined to witness the impact, as participants reflected on lessons they will carry into daily life.
Women’s Day is approaching.
At CBS Rwanda, we give safe spaces, dialogue, and compassion.
We gain restored dignity, reunited families, and stronger communities.

The Magirirane training starts with high morning energy.
Participants are kicking off the day in pairs, opening up, listening to each other, and stepping more confidently into the process. Small team discussions are creating safe spaces, deeper sharing, and stronger connections.
Day 2 of the Magirirane Training
Learning continues as facilitators actively engage, share experiences, and strengthen their understanding of sociotherapy and group facilitation. Each session builds more confidence and commitment to positively impact their communities.
Today, CBS Rwanda launched the first Magirirane Project facilitators training in
@rusizidistrict . This three-week training focuses on sociotherapy and its approach, preparing facilitators to later facilitate community groups in their communities.
Through community-based sociotherapy known as Mvura Nkuvure, our participants are letting go of pain, finding peace, and reclaiming their lives.
Healing together is how unity and reconciliation grow.
