A new chapter for Cork City! 📚✨ We are thrilled to see that Cork City Council has officially acquired the Counting House on South Main Street to become the new home of the Cork City Public Library. This €35m investment transforms this historic site into a world-class cultural hub. At over three times the size of the current library, it will feature over 500,000 books, journals, and magazines, 300 study spaces, a café, a performance area, and an expanded Rory Gallagher music library. 🎸☕ This is a huge win for Cork City!
