Authentic Art all 2026, it’s time to push the art form forward 🤲🏾
10 years ago, I fell in love with the art of photography. For 10 years, I’ve honed my craft and studied how to capture light, human emotion, and a moment in time that could never be recreated.
But for those same 10 years, I was scared. Scared to bet on myself, scared to achieve success, scared to journey into territory that no one in my family has before. I knew that “saying” this was my passion was not enough; that if I wanted to travel the world, create and share art, and connect with beautiful humans along the way, I would have put in my 10,000+ hours to build a business that could sustain a lifestyle and touch others.
In the spring, I finally decided to venture into uncharted territory and cement my brand as a corporation. On my 10 year anniversary this week, I took the final step and officially opened up my business through Chase. I can’t wait to look back at this moment 10 years from now as the day I chose to act my dreams.

To know me is to know how much anime is apart of my life. Ever since I saw Goku turn super saiyan when I was like 6-7, I been hooked on anime ever since, so this was a real full circle moment for me 🥲
Also, HUGE s/o to Dream Con for providing us with press passes! I was able to meet, interview, and capture legendary black creatives in our culture, as well as up and coming trailblazers in the content space.
Needless to say, me and my homies @thesameconvo will be back next year 🤩 but for now, enjoy the recap!

In ‘24 I touched 6 figures after being laid off all of ‘23, my art grew the most it has since 2020,
raising the best dog in the world 🥹,
seen family and friends achieve milestones too!
I learned alot about myself and the world around me, and even though ion got it figured out, I made tangible progress. That’s all that matters right?
But ik I been away lately, so I wanted to share my fav unreleased photos from ‘24 since I’m obviously in this grateful space as the year ends. I’m ranting now, but I hope yall ready to take this journey with me in ‘25, cuz we still got more to do and more ppl to reach 🙂↕️📸

In an effort to dedicate time to improving the day in and day out operations of my photography business, I would like to announce that my books are closed for the remainder of the year. If we have already scheduled or began planning shoots, those will of course still be honored, but I am unfortunately no longer accepting new bookings from this day forward.
Next year, I plan on changing various aspects of my business to properly align with my artistic goals and vision for the future, as well as provide a better streamlined experience/service for my clients and supporters throughout Chicago and beyond. Christmas 2025 will mark my 10th year as a photographer, and I intend to use all of my successes, failures, and experiences to ensure this is my best year yet for me, and even more importantly, you all. Thank you for your patience, and I cannot wait to see you all in 2025!
