Havenāt posted much here in recent times - basically because Iāve been busy away from the camera. Oh and no-one sees your photos anymore of course.

But I had a great little autumn getaway to France last week - not Spain, I know right?! - and enjoyed exploring beautiful Biarritz.

I went there mostly for surf photography, but had to hunt down a classic landscape shot from one of the viewpoints, and luckily the sky lit up for this treat.

An unexpectedly free afternoon last weekend gave me the chance to finally check out beautiful Broadsands Beach - and I couldnāt have landed a better day for it too!

Itās a lush sight from the viewpoint above without a doubt, but I had to get the drone up and check out this delicious piece of coastline in its full glory.

Been a while since I did a shot like this - surprised I could even remember how to put my tripod up tbh!

A messy but interesting sky up at Westward Ho! on Saturday eve. I can never resist using the smooth rocks there as a foreground, so just needed the sky and sea to play ball too and, wellā¦ it did something colourful at least!

And hey I was actually supposed to be eating Thai food instead, so at the least the sky lit up a little bit after having to bail on those plans!

Spent a lush few days down in Cornwall for the birthday recently. Finally had to time to head all the way west and check out some of Kernowās most serene sights over a few days.

The view over Porthchapel Beach was one of my favourite vistas, and even though Iām basically forgetting how to do landscape photography, I managed to get this self-inserted snap in the spring sunshine glow minutes before it clouded over for the afternoon.

Finally caught a summer sunset on these shores for the first time in a long time. Very glad the trip out to Woolacombe at the weekend was worthwhile.

Had no idea what I might shoot, so was stoked to see this guy perched on the rocks watching the sun disappear over the horizon. Another month of letting my hair grow and I could have passed this off as me!

Didnāt have time for much photography on my last Valencia visit, but made sure to get out for a sunrise stroll one morning and got to enjoy the Torres de Serrano in the dawn light.

I like the minimalism of this shot, but also hope I can get a version in the future with a more dramatic sky too.

What looked like a moody grey sky on Friday ended up being one of the nicest sunsets Iāve been able to catch in ages.
