Last weekend @caylculus , @maxdrinkswater , and I released a 3 song EP under the band name Bucket Lunch. I’m so glad that I’ve been able to continue making music with my highschool buddies despite none of us living in the same city anymore. We are fortunate to be able to draw upon the talents of our friend group to fill out the project: @peter_hayward_ organ, @whobuhstank guitar, @abdelgarderon piano and @true.hallucinations cover art. We wrote Oil Change thinking about our dads so a cover featuring them was appropriate. Working on these tunes has been a highlight for my trips home to MN, I hope you enjoy them too.
This last weekend just kept going. I had 6 amazing shows in 4 days! The last show was my second gig running sound on top of the Hewing Hotel in Minneapolis for the band Creeping Charlie! After our soundcheck the tour manager for Young the Giant happened to be sitting in the pool listening because his band was staying at the hotel and he liked what he heard so he offered to gave us all free tickets for YTG and Cage the Elephant at the Target Center the next night! To top it off we got backstage passes to hangout with the band afterwards. I guess these are some of the perks of working in the music industry!

I was just experimenting with some camera angles and recorded this little snippet and thought it sounded pretty good. Don’t mind the part when I get out of the pocket. I’m looking forward to making some more drum content, it’s been while!
