How do you say goodbye to art? Especially when the design is so deeply personal to you.
Thats the phrase I’ve been asking myself this week as I process the end of the most amazing season. The conclusion I’ve come to is that you don’t. The emotions and feelings that both the performers and the audience felt, they live on. Those feelings inspire and spark creativity. So the art lives on. It may change and look different, but it never dies. What a cool activity.
If you were a performer in “The Maze,” I hope you remember that this art exists because of you and it will live on after you. I will never be able to thank you enough for what you did for me by pouring your passion into this show.
If you were an audience member who got to watch “The Maze,” I hope you left knowing that even if you feel trapped, there is a way out. You hold the key and it looks different for everyone.

At its base level symmetry is defined as the quality of being made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis. However, if you look a little deeper you will see that Symmetry is all around us. Even the particles that make up each of us are made on the axis of symmetry.
In 2012 I was a poor college student studying photography. I photographed a @predsnhl practice and decided I would save up to get my favorite players jersey, @pekkarinne . 10 years later I have had the opportunity to photograph #35 and see first hand his leadership in our community. You will forever be missed on and off the ice. The 🐐 with a heart of gold 💛💙
What started in a parking garage has led me to film in one of the most iconic venues in Nashville. I hope every patient that sees this project gets even more excited than we did filming it.
Thank you @brantleygilbert@brandonlaymusic@chasewrightmusic and @imjoeyhendricks for letting me point a camera at you. 🎥 🔥
