June 18th–July 1st, 1993: Extreme music titans Rorschach and Assück toured the East Coast together. They had Cavity among the opening bands in West Palm Beach and Miami. These two dates, thanks to the help of Rorschach’s Charles Maggio, led to Cavity playing live on air at WFMU radio station in New Jersey during Cavity’s own East Coast tour in August that year. Charles was an assistant sound engineer on Pat Duncan’s show; the session was recorded and featured on Cavity’s Somewhere Between The Train Station And The Dumping Grounds.
These experiences are narrated first-hand in the liner notes written by Rorschach’s vocalist, which are included in the insert which accompanies the LP reissue of the album.
I’ve always been fascinated by the fact that he was credited as engineer on the jacket of the LP, since Rorschach is one of the greatest and most ferocious HC bands of the nineties, so it has been a true honour that Charles agreed to share his memories with our project.
Even if you own the original pressing on Rhetoric Records, the reissue’s worth acquiring for the liner notes alone.
Mail order update: As of today, all pre-orders have shipped.

The catalog continues to grow in Violence in the Veins with a cult classic:
🎸 CAVITY - Somewhere Between the Train Station...
A fundamental piece to understand the darkest Sludge. The edition comes with a brutal libretto that includes photos of the time on ABC No Rio and flyers of mythical concerts with Assück and Rorschach. Pure 90s mud!
