After over two years, the label is back with a long awaited release by Bruges producer dybbuk. Sunwren dives deep into his signature bass-driven worlds, blending cinematic textures, fragmented rhythms, and echoes of old-school sci-fi. Sunwren was mastered by SIM (@sim_mtl ) whose touch brings out every detail in dybbuk’s intricate soundscapes, and features striking album art by Jesse Osborne-Lanthier (@jesseosbornelanthier ), adding an eerie visual dimension to the artist’s sonic world. Based in Bruges, Belgium, dybbuk is a DJ and producer whose sound lies at the crossroads of bass music, ambient atmospheres, and techno mutations. Drawing from the restless experimentation of early 2000s electronic music, his productions weave heavy low-end pressure with crystalline textures, spectral voices, and fragmented rhythms. His love for old-school sci-fi and video game worlds continues to shape his sonic imagination, where futuristic dread collides with nostalgia. The result is a music that feels both intimate and otherworldly: introspective soundscapes that still carry undeniable club weight. Artist spotlight: Xozgk (LIVE) Established in 2020 as the more straightforwardly rhythmic alias of the semiotically averse noise maker also known as Grkzgl. Interpolations between inaccurate memories of tracks of all styles heard on dance floors and various studio accidents. Armed with two grooveboxes, Xozgk will be showcasing a rare live set focusing on his new experimentations. Footage sourced by the artist on the Internet.

Artist spotlight: Nixtrove - Ego Death (LIVE A/V) Born in Vancouver in 1999, sound engineer, drummer and music producer Matthew Coulombe has since settled in Montreal. First learning the piano and guitar as a child, he developed a passion for the drums at 15, a passion which naturally led him to drum machines and sequencers. Under the moniker Nixtrove, Coulombe overlaps layers upon layers of syncopated beats, delves into polyrhythmic structures, splinters and deconstructs cadences and melodies in order to create electronic music that integrates and blends shades of IDM, Acid, Drum and bass, Breakbeat, Ambient, Dub and Bass music into a uniquely left field sound. Supremely prolific, Nixtrove has self-released nearly 20 albums and EPs in the last four years. Nixtrove will present a performance of reworked tracks from his new record “Ego Death”, showcasing introspective cuts, bass, lush and glitchy broken Machinedrum electro with some techno flavors. Artist spotlight: laced & LCL_Stream - Spellbind (LIVE A/V) Previously performing under aliases such as S. Tease and Lacedetail, Montreal’s Nela Paki now uses the laced moniker for her current output of progressive, entrancing electronic patterns. In 2018, she released her first EP titled “Define This Mood”, providing a blistering surge of industrial power on Toronto’s Summer Isle label. In 2019 she started her label Causal Chain, pushing elegantly destructive compositions that draw from IDM, techno and breaks, deeply inspired by the UK bass sound. In 2022, she released two EPs: “Caustic Reverie” on UK label @all_centre and “oko” (meaning “eye” in her native language) on her own imprint. She has performed live sets alongside artists like E-Saggila, Hiro Kone, Boy Harsher, Jaclyn Kendall and Minimal Violence, and has DJ’d at parties with Ploy, J. Albert, Objekt, re:ni and DJ Pitch. LCL_Stream is Bruno Lauzon-Tanzi, a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, Quebec. His creative background involves hand-drawn and digital illustration, type work, motion design, photo manipulation, video editing and 3D rendering. His visuals are strongly influenced by his cultural interests in music, video games and animated films. He is also a electronic music producer and DJ, influenced by a variety of sounds, ranging from high-energy beats and melodic sequences found in club music, IDM, trance and breakcore. He is the co-founder of @audiobambino , a label and artist collective focused on discovering and synthesizing exciting possibilities in the realm of underground rave music. He is also a curator and main visual artist on laced’s Causal Chain label. Spellbind is a live A/V performance by laced & LCL_Stream, which had its world premiere in Tokyo for MUTEK.JP (@mutek.jp ) in December 2022. The performance is a collage of stems taken from laced’s “oko” EP, twisted around and recontextualized, spiraling deeper and deeper into the “oko” the universe. The visuals represent a fuzzy visualizer, or a direct window into a dreamworld, painted through textures of the past, like blurry memories. Artist spotlight: gonima - Emergent Systems (LIVE A/V) gonima is an alias of Evan Magoni, a Montréal-based musician exploring ambient music, glitch aesthetics, and complex rhythms. He employs pointillist audio editing, live playing, and generative musical processes to create detailed digital textures, ethereal melodies, and collage-like musical arrangements with an emotive core. Since the project’s beginning in 2011 in Philadelphia, gonima’s music has been released by Chicago-based Satellite Era, Austin, TX-based Sunset Waves, Japanese label Bullflat3.8, in Montréal on ygrade and Ancient Robot, in Germany on Slam City Jams, and numerous self-releases. Magoni’s practice is informed by years of training and experience playing drums in ensemble settings, recently in the math rock two-piece Cake Function and Montréal art rockers Boy Friends. He also produces in club-IDM duo N’Dorok along with South African producer B00N. gonima will premiere a new A/V live set based on an upcoming release. “Emergent Systems” explores collective behaviors that arise from the relationships between forms and sounds, composer and tools, feelings and environments. Visuals featuring audio-reactive shapes and textures are generated in real time in response to an abstract and melodic ambient/IDM/glitch sound palette. Artist spotlight: Bénédicte - If I Were To Meet The Water (LIVE) Bénédicte is the musical project of Montreal-based producer and sound artist Maxime Gordon. In her music she carefully crafts and combines soaring synths, distorted field-recordings and glittering vocal samples to explore moments of introspection and feeling. She has performed at venues and festivals across North America and Europe such as MUTEK (Montreal), Eastern Bloc (Montreal), Glory Affairs (Prague) and OIIOIOOI (Stadt Wehlen). Her most recent album is a 5 track EP called When It Binds, which was released by Blueberry Records in 2021. In her live shows Bénédicte prefers a minimal set up - playing live remixed and altered versions of released and unreleased tracks. Striking a balance between soaring synths, distorted field-recordings and glittering vocal samples, she explores moments of introspection and feeling. With “If I Were To Meet The Water”, Bénédicte leans further into her ambient sensibility, casting a spell of frozen time.
