was intent on using up my roll of film on the trip so I took a lot of candids of my friends :) iceland was so much fun and we honestly ate pretty well (Icelandic hot dogs yum and seafood but also odder/rarer foods like whale and reindeer). the lighting is a little off in some of these but generally the flash ones came out well. I’m realizing close range pics are really hard and probably should be manually focused haha…

wahhhh iceland is so pretty even in these noob film pics which still came out stunning 🥹🥹🥹 lol I think a lot of the photos that didn’t make the cut were blurry bc my hands were so freaking cold 💀 I think the nature is just insane cause it’s landscapes I had never seen before (frozen lakes, huge waterfalls, glaciers you can walk to/on). so worth a visit!!!!

first pic is one of my favs, the lighting is so perfect, honestly all the livigno snaps are really great. the too bright pic was supposed to be of our Flo mascot plushies :( got to do a bit of sightseeing in Milan (duomo) but really locked in on events and shopping hahaha. the Olympics are still so so cool tho hope people can get some LA28 tix!!
oh another funny ish not that funny story i messed up the film I brought with me so i had to go to a local store to buy more film and they didn’t speak English and i was stressed and the film was like $20 💀 but worth

did a lot more in SF on this trip and the weather was just so stunning it was like my mini summer in the middle of nyc winter!! 😎 started off with return to student life at Stanford law with grace, moved on up to the city and finally went to the famous golden gate bridge lookouts, ate at san ho won finally too, and got lots of social time in! offsite was busy as usual, back to San Mateo for dinner at daeho 😋 but the sunny weather was really the highlight of this trip leg

this is truly just a cats post+ appreciation for my friends who I spent quality time with for a few days :) Jen’s cats loved smelling my suitcase and sitting on my towel 🥲 although they did feel comfy enough with me to sleep on me !!! 🥹 I want a cat ugh !!!
an actual note on the photos 🤣: I mostlyyy shot in auto for my trip b/c I wanted nice photos that would auto focus but I think the results have made me realize it’s not always perfect. I think some of these shots for example don’t have the right lighting or aren’t well focused. so still gotta learn some camera sense

super last minute trip to China to spend time with my grandmother 🫶🏼 I miss her so much ! I barely spent any time sightseeing this time, was mostly taking care of family, but did get to go to west lake aka one of my fav places on earth. the 鸳鸯(mandarin ducks) are so pretty :)

last minute work trip sent me out of nyc . the weather was so terrible 🥲 relatively busy during the week but got to hangout with nick, and albert who was moving to a new apt in SF . I always see him when he’s moving it’s so odd timing
forgetting flash is brutal in dark cloudy settings. and rip forgetting to change focus distance.

bought a film camera off a coworker and now I’m testing out the basics of photography — new hobby unlocked! I really like the vibes of disposable cameras / how images appear on film so I went for a nice one :’) it’s half frame (inspired by an ex-teammate who has an Olympus) so I don’t feel like 36 frames is too few on a roll
