MerMagic Con is thrilled to announce our Featured Artist for our 2026 MMC Official Merchandise! Cat Hopkins has been in the mer industry for years, plus a renowned tattoo artist!
I’m not going to lie guys, it was tough. Even though Cat won by a blind unanimous vote we had SOOOO MANY excellent submissions. The MMC admin does participate in blind voting, meaning we don’t look at who submitted the artwork before viewing and voting to keep unintentional bias out of play. We will be releasing merchandise in the next couple of days! Due to the respect we have for the other artists and their opportunity to either 1.) resubmit their artwork for next year and 2.) have the opportunity to make money off of their artwork not affiliated with MMC on their own personal pages; we will not be revealing other artwork that was submitted. We truly hope see these designs resubmitted, thought! 👀
