Yuri Daydream is a singer-songwriter, playwright, and screenwriter coming from a family of activist musicians and a life-long struggle with mental illness.
Like her name suggests, Yuri is the anime-inspired lesbian fantasy you may or may not have while staring out a scratched up bus window on a lightly overcast day.
Her Hawaiian, Chinese, Japanese, and Haole ancestors are at constant war with each other, but she’s handling it and looks cute doing so.

Thought about trying to soft launch this one but I’m too old for that shit, so here’s my partner Lemon who I’m absolutely obsessed with. They are just so cool and wonderful and creative and sweet and kind and adorable and selfless if I keep going it’s gonna be all adjectives from here on out. I have to actively resist dropping their entire resume here cause that feels pretentious but let’s just say they do really awesome work for many communities and the environment and I’d be head over heels for them anyway but that really doesn’t hurt.
It’s been really hard for my other partner @kakes_cooks and I to find poly and trans community before we met Lemon, which we’ve especially needed this year.
Getting us out of our bubble and expanding of our found family is just one of the many ways they’ve really brightened up our lives by being in them, especially mine.
Who knew the really cute caving enthusiast who messaged me on a queer dating app asking me about my go-to comfort anime back in April would so quickly become such a big and precious part of my life.
