“all at once” is a piece inspired by the concept of echo for Strike Magazine i08, “Living in a Daydream.” it’s an ode to the many versions of ourselves that live within us—everything we have been, and all that we are becoming. it’s meant to serve as a reminder to cherish both the layers we’ve shed and the present self we’re growing into.
this written piece also offers reassurance to not shy away from the versions of yourself you may no longer identify with—they are integral parts of the complex puzzle that makes us human. as we grow throughout our lives, we’ll meet countless versions of ourselves. greet each one with compassion, understanding, and the wisdom to carry forward the lessons they’ve taught you
