A small upgrade but it makes a big difference in our bathroom. Adding the mirror panel has made it feel bigger, brighter and it's automatically doubled the plants in there 😉👌

After discussing a home office design with a new client this week, thoughtfully designed work spaces have been on my mind.
Carving out a space in your home to work from can be tricky when space is limited. Over the years, I’ve found the best solution is to let spaces do double duty. A dressing table that transforms into a desk, or a simple console and stool that becomes the perfect pop-up workstation for a few hours.

Another mid century home ticked off the list. The Neutra VDL Studio and Residences on Silver Lake Boulevard. Just like The Stahl House, you can feel the love and intention that was poured into this home still to this day ✨️

I recently photographed a renovation project that was completed last year where the kitchen takes centre stage.
This one's all about the materials. Soft sage cabinetry, antique brass accents, warm oak floor, subtle veined stone. A kitchen that feels thoughtful and timeless.

A little bit of sunshine (at last!) streamed into the house over the weekend so I snapped a few photos of Nancy's bedroom as her sun catcher threw little rainbows all around her room ✨️
The big reveal ✨️ Oscar's bedroom was really a blank canvas so I started by taking some inspiration from Oscar's big love of Lego. I created a colour scheme that nods to the Lego branding and made sure he had a dedicated space to build all his creations as well as places to display those creations ❤️
@emeraldgreendecor did a great job again using @alchemistpaint and Julia was very busy building Oscar's desk, toy storage boxes and a little reading nook.

A room designed to grow, just like Alfie. 🧸
What started as a renovation project now has a whimsical, vintage-inspired nursery full of charm, storage and thoughtful details. Drawing on the home’s 1930s roots, this space blends character with practicality, and gives Rob and Darren a nursery their family can grow into. 💛

The big reveal for Alfie Bear 🧸✨️
I have to say I loved every makeover I have done in both series of The Salvage Squad but this one was the one for me ❤️ Rob, Darren and Alfie were one of the most beautiful families I've ever met and from the moment I met them I wanted to pour my heart and soul into this makeover.
I wanted this room to reflect the history of their home so I set myself an extra challenge with this makeover by only bringing in vintage furniture into the space.
Highlighting the old features in the room (the fireplace and flooring) was a non-negotiable to create that nostalgic, vintage feeling in the room.
I also LOVE having a subtle theme in a kid's room - little nods everywhere, nothing too obvious so it had to be Alfie's second name Bear 🐻 Can you spot all the bear references in the room? Some are a little obscure!
@emeraldgreendecor did a fantastic job again using @alchemistpaint from @carlowpainthub@trevorgoulden unsurprisingly knocked it out of the park again with this one 🙌
And well done to @thewhitehome on winning Wendy over, it's a beautiful space 👌
