Let's go! Wir als schweizer Importeur von ESP GUITARS supporten Schweizer Artists, die ESP Gitarren spielen und haben dafür ein kleines Endorsement eingeführt. Dieses bezieht sich auf alle, die (noch) nicht auf Welttournee sind, sondern auf Artists, die bisher hauptsächlich im schweizer Raum aktiv waren. Die erste, die wir dafür gewinnen konnten ist Cathy. Laut und rockig, wie es sich gehört, fühlt sie sich auch im akustischen Bereich sehr wohl. Seit wann und warum Cathy auf der Bühne steht und seit wann sie ESP Gitarren spielt, erzählt sie euch direkt selbst! Herzlich Willkommen, Cathy! Ein ESP-Endorsement, was für eine Ehre! Auch wenn ich nie besonders markenaffin unterwegs war, habe ich schon lange eine Vorliebe für diese Gitarren. Ein kontrastreiches Duo begleitet mich seit vielen Jahren auf der Bühne und im Proberaum: die pechschwarze LTD EC-1000 und die schneeweisse E-II Eclipse. Verliebt hatte ich mich bei beiden in erster Linie in deren kraftvollen Sound, aber ich würde lügen, wenn ich behaupten würde, die äusseren Werte hätten mir nicht auch zugesagt 😉 Ich fühle mich in der Welt des Hardrock und Metal zu Hause, wobei man mich im Moment vor allem mit meinem Akustikrock-Duo Unexplained antrifft. Die E-Gitarren setzen aber keinesfalls Staub an. Verschiedensten Einsätze als Gast- oder Aushilfsgitarristin (u.a. Sorepoint, Blind Call) sorgen dafür, dass das Rampensäuli in mir regelmässigen Freilauf erhält. Mit diversen anderen musikalischen Aktivitäten bin ich zudem mehr als ausgelastet. Man trifft mich sehr oft als Besucherin an Konzerten oder auch mal als Helferin hinter der Bar meines Lieblingslokals, dem Böröm in Oberentfelden.
