8 days in Sardinia with no agenda, lots of beaches, swimming in crystal clear water, way too much pasta and not knowing what day of the week it is.
Just our kind of holiday!

Have you ever felt burnt out and just needed a few days off?
That was us towards the end of March. All we needed was a Holiday.
We’re water babies so all we wanted was the sun, sea, and sand. But, having recently splurged on a family trip to the Philippines, our budget for this getaway was tight.
In our search for an affordable yet relaxing destination close to India, we found flights to Maldives were surprisingly cheap, but of course we were hesitant because stay was extremely expensive. That didn’t stop us though, we researched a bit and discovered the hidden gems of the Maldives: its local islands. These islands are not only open to tourists but are also incredibly budget-friendly.
Within a day, we zeroed in on Ukulhas. It ticked all our boxes: serene beach, a vibrant house reef perfect for snorkeling, white sand, manta snorkeling tours, and dolphin watching excursions.
This trip turned out to be one of our most memorable experiences. Having previously stayed at a private island in the Maldives, we found this visit to Ukulhas even better. By saving on accommodation, we could splurge on unforgettable tours and adventures, making every moment special.
It was a perfect reminder that with a bit of planning and a spirit of adventure, incredible travel experiences are always within reach.

Missing this beautiful paradise island @brenniakottefaru Can’t get over how blue the water was and white the sand was too. Luckily for us, the weather was perfect (Oct’23)
We were taken care of well by everyone at Brennia, right from our sea plane transfer, to our hotel room, the food and activities. Definitely a must go if you are planning your Maldives holiday.
