Welcome to Celia, the British Pullman’s immersive private dining experience, launching on the rails next week.
An original 1932 carriage has been reimagined by one of the greatest cinematic storytellers of our age, Baz Luhrmann together with Oscar-winning designer
Catherine Martin. The exclusive carriage follows the narrative of the fictional muse Celia. An emblem of playfulness and after-hours mischief, the imagined
West End leading lady was gifted her own Pullman car in 1932 in honour of her era-defining performance as Titania, Queen of the Fairies, in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Introducing Celia
The British Pullman’s immersive private dining experience, for life’s ultimate celebrations. Celia is based on the life of a fictional muse conjured up from Baz Luhrmann’s imagination. A celebrated West End leading lady, Celia’s acclaimed role as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream captured hearts – including her future husband’s. In her honour, he commissioned a private 1930s British Pullman carriage, immortalising her captivating performance in every detail. Within Celia, the spirit of Titania’s world lives on, echoing her famous invitation: trip away; make no stay; meet me all by break of day.
