After a week of bucketing rain in Cape Town, the universe gave us a miracle: 31 degrees, no wind, and a morning filled with pure, unfiltered joy 💛 I still get goosebumps watching this back.

Wow, the most spectacular morning I’ve ever had… truly no words to describe the amount of joy and love I felt that morning.
I went with a low, sleek (but still natural) bun. My hair stylist Zelmari @bridalhairclubsa couldn’t have done it more perfectly if she tried. I’ve known her for 4+ years and having her calm, gentle and such kind energy there was so special. There is nobody else I would have trusted with my hair on my wedding day.
And for makeup, I went for a natural look and I absolutely loved how it turned out. I booked @tasmindoesmakeup as soon as we booked our venue because finding a makeup artist who does natural makeup is way harder than it should be 🤭
I also got gifted my custom getting ready gown from @amara_bespoke - obsessed how it turned out.

Still emotional thinking about that morning 🥹🤍
I’ve struggled with body confidence for years, so having a morning where I tried on swimwear and only heard kind thoughts in my head felt huge for me. It’s crazy what can happen when you surround yourself with the right people and actually do the hard work of healing. One day you realise the way you speak to yourself has changed.
And honestly… I just have the best friends in the world. The thought, effort and love they put into every little detail of this weekend made me feel so celebrated and cared for 🤍
And so the wedding content begins… 🤭🤍
Starting with my “Blue Before I Do” kitchen tea, beautifully organised by my incredible mom and the most special friends.
I’ll never forget walking into my parents’ home and instantly bursting into tears - the love, detail, and effort that filled that space was beyond anything I could have imagined.
My mom truly went all out — from the most beautiful cups and saucers to match the theme, to choosing the perfect cake (both colour and design), filling the space with soft blue flowers, and making sure there was an abundance of my favourite treats for everyone to enjoy.
@daniellevanduyn created the most stunning hanging welcome sign (still in awe that she made it herself?!), and my bridesmaids and friends brought everything together with thoughtful decorations and the sweetest, most personal games.
Looking back at these photos fills my heart in the best way - so much warmth, so much joy… and a little bit of sadness that it’s all over.
Having over 20 of the most important women in my life in one room felt surreal.
I still can’t believe it was real. I feel so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so much love 🤍

Three weeks (and one day) to go… and it’s starting to feel very real 🤍
All the final details are slowly falling into place (with a few last-minute decisions in between), and I popped into @modebymichaelaromy to try on some rental options for my kitchen tea, bachelorette and the night before I do.
Trying on all these dresses made me realise something: even though they’re all white, each one makes me feel like a completely different version of myself. And that’s what I love most about fashion… you don’t have to show up as the same version of you every time. You get to shift, explore, and be exactly who you feel like being in that moment.
