Last week will be one to remember for a very long time.
We had the great honor of welcoming @ericpetersonofficial and @alexskolnick from @testamentofficial into our Cathedral Cabinets workshop here in Antwerp.
I showed them around the shop, explained the materials we work with, and demonstrated how we handcraft our cabinets – including the details of the dovetail joinery that holds everything together.
After a lunch in the workshop, the real fun began: they spent hours in our showroom with their own guitars, putting every cabinet and speaker combination to the test. Watching two world-class musicians explore tone in such depth, right there in our space, was not only inspiring but also incredibly educational.
It is truly humbling that they took the time to visit us, to learn about our process, and to engage so deeply with what we create. This is the kind of day that reminds me why I love building cabinets – it’s about passion, dedication, and connecting with people who share that same pursuit of excellence.
And then, as if that wasn’t enough, their show at Trix in Antwerp turned out to be the best concert I have seen in 2025. The energy, the performance, the connection with the audience – it all came together in a way that I will never forget.

This year’s Guitar Summit has been an incredible experience. Being there with Cathedral Cabs gave us the chance to connect with so many passionate people, from fellow exhibitors to players and enthusiasts who share the same love for everything guitar and cabinet related.
Some real highlights included the many interviews, meeting new exhibitors who are just as dedicated to their craft, hosting a signing session with Alex Skolnick at our booth, and announcing the Karnivore speaker (Eminence) in our cabinets.
We’re now back home, more motivated than ever, with the clear conviction that what we are building is something truly special. The coming year, we’ll push harder than ever to take it even further.
