What a ride at the @fishbisbees —the docks were buzzing, the competition was fierce, and offshore action did not disappoint. From the first lines in to the final weigh-in, it was full throttle all the way.
Billfish showed up in style, with steady numbers and nonstop hookups that kept crews dialed in and adrenaline high. Flags were flying, reels were screaming, and every day brought highlight-worthy moments on the water. Conditions played nice, the bite stayed consistent, and Quepos delivered exactly what it’s famous for—world-class sportfishing at its finest.

Day 3 of Bisbee’s Inaugural Costa Rica Offshore kept the momentum rolling 🔥🎣
An impressive 578 billfish releases hit the board — 566 Pacific sailfish and 12 blue marlin — with teams pushing hard through the final day. Add in 9 tuna and 4 dorado, bringing the Day 3 total to 582 fish.
Top catch & release teams making it count: Pura Vida, Black Hawk, Lone Star Longshotz, Reel Gold, Dutch Privateer, and Game Plan.
At the scales:
🐟 Team Zancudo Lodge Z-1 takes top tuna with a 141.9 lb fish by angler John Ramos
Right on their heels, Adrian Miranda from Team North Star with an incredibly close 141.7 lb tuna. Honorable mentions are team Los Gatos with 127.5 lbs, team Stella June with 133lbs and team pura Vida pirates at 123lbs
🐠 Team Rock’N Reel brings in 29.7 dorado by anger Jake Hammet, Howler just 1lbs shy with a 28.7 lb by angler Chris Petrucelli and team fourcast with 25.7lbs dorado
By 7:30pm the weigh station closed, but the energy didn’t stop — teams rolled straight into Friday night festivities to celebrate an unforgettable tournament and gear up for Saturday’s awards celebration.

Day 2 of Bisbee’s Costa Rica Offshore turned up the heat 🔥🎣
Another massive day on the water with 602 billfish releases — 588 sailfish, 12 blue marlin, and 2 black marlin — proving just how strong the bite continues to be. Add in 20 tuna and 2 dorado at the scales, and Day 2 wraps with an incredible total of 624 fish.
Leading the charge in catch & release points: Pura Vida, Rum Runner, Deal Sled, Black Hawk, Vaquero, E&A, and Kelly Dawn.
The weigh station brought the energy once again:
🐟 Team North Star takes top tuna with a 187 lb fish by angler Alonso Alatorre
Close behind, Team Zancudo Lodge Z1 with 142.3 lbs and Reel Texans with 137 lbs
🐠 Top dorado honors go to Team Howler with an impressive 60.31 lb catch by angler Robert Lyons 🔥
Followed by Team Los Hermanos with a 49.4 lb dorado

Day 1 of Bisbee’s Costa Rica Offshore came in HOT 🔥🎣
79 teams hit the water and delivered an incredible 585 billfish releases — 576 sailfish and 9 blue marlin — setting the tone for an action-packed tournament. Leading the charge in the release categories: Pura Vida, Poco Ocho, Fish Tank, Five More Minutes, and Game Plan.
The energy didn’t slow at the scales… the afternoon weigh station was pumping with 26 tuna and 2 dorado, bringing the total Day 1 catch to an impressive 613 fish.
Top honors at the weigh station:
🐟 Team Concan Castaways takes the top tuna with a 149.7 lb catch by angler Ty Kirkpatrick. Close behind, Team North Star with 142.1 lbs and Team Rock N Roll with 141.6 lbs.
🐠 Team North Star lands the top dorado at 40 lbs by angler Eddy Gonzalez, followed by the only other dorado of the day from Team Five More Minutes weighing in at 25.6 lbs.
