On April 20, 2026, Arizona lawmakers passed a resolution that forbids the term West Bank and forces the biblical name Judea and Samaria. A state legislation essentially ordering how people must talk about Palestine. And who pushed this in the US? The National Association of Christian Lawmakers, who turned right-wing demands into model legislation that has already been adopted in Arizona, Arkansas and Tennessee. They even fly lawmakers on propoganda trips to illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank. The City’s ICE-reporting form is being presented like a safe way to share information, but the fine print tells a different story. The form runs on a third-party platform, collected data may include identifying and technical information, and there is no ironclad protection against disclosure through legal process or ordinary agency discretion. People should assume anything submitted could be stored, accessed, and potentially shared beyond what they intended.
