We’re so back! After a long hiatus (slow season) I’m happy to announce I’m returning this month with a solid line up of events. I know it’s weird af self promoting during these times but I fully support friends and colleagues that still need a source of income. If you know my situation you know this is all I got rn! Anyhoo, please come by even to only say hello!
slide 1: I completed this animation one day before the KNOWN 🧊 raids begun in LA this month which sparked the current protests. Since the message is always relevant it’s no surprise it’s imagery is similar to what we are seeing rn in real time. All day it’s abolish ice, abolish the Prison–industrial complex, and down with the white supremacist capitalist governments that terrorize the world.
slide 2: Ralph Bakshi, in his commentary of his 1977 movie Wizards which deals with themes of fascism. In 77’ he says that unless our eyes are kept open fascism is ready to come back in any generation.
