When you teach.. its not a position of authority.. its a position of responsibility. People are trusting you with their minds..you have to be ready .
Its not just some thing you earn because you win battles.. that doesn't Qualify you..

I love my job.
Judging is one of the many things pulled into the umbrella of my Job.
Leadership and MOST importantly RESPONSIBILITY.
When you're a Judge you are NOT just in a position of authority.
Its a position of RESPONSIBILITY as well
YOUR bias should NEVER play a role in whether someone wins or not..
If you cant accurately describe to someone why they lost or won for that matter you should NEVER sit in that seat..
This is not up for debate. You have to be one of if not thee most educated person in the room on that day.
People are TRUSTING YOU to be FAIR and HONEST..
Soon alot of you who judge won't be allowed to without certification... I cant wait for that day honestly...

Things I've heard judges say. "Hes got that og flavor.. cant go against that!"..
"He expressed his art more"
"Why should I tell you why you've lost? "
"I dont know man I just felt him more you know"
"You didn't finish your round with an exclamation point "
"Well you knelt down after your round"
"Wasn't dancy enough for me"
ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THOSE THINGS ARE VALID REASONS NOR ACCURATE EXPLANATIONS FOR SOMEONE WINNING OR LOSING.....
Its coming... change is coming.. we're gonna see who actually cares about this culture and who just wants their ego stroked...
