Dance on.

“Dance On” is out today. Recorded in 2018 at Motorbass studio, when our album “Dreems” was almost finished, we kept the track aside for later. Its production had a playful, no-pressure feel. While tweaking the mix of “Fame,” Philippe played me a few loops on his computer. An hour later, we playing with it. I pushed him to lay down a lead vocal; we added backing vocals and synths. Matthieu Chedid, who had joined us that day, layered guitars, and the session went back into Philippe’s computer.
Then, last October, in the middle of the night at the first Cassius Club in Paris, I knew I’d carry that celebration all the way. It would end on a stage, and I would play our music there, to make the audience dance or catch their breath, to thank them for having been there and for still being there. One last dance to close an important chapter of our life. So I told myself that releasing an unreleased song, the last one we made together, to accompany me on this journey was the right time.
A way for the two of us to still be here with you, sharing music as we always have. Dance On.
CASSIUS 4EVER 🤍
After two extraordinary nights in Paris and London, the celebration of the Cassius legacy continues all summer.
Tomorrow, we take over Boiler Room Paris for a special set.
Then across all Europe for the festival season.
See you on the dancefloor

Paris. London. Two nights I'll never forget. Thank you for showing up with so much love and helping us celebrate the legacy of Cassius and our story. One week later, the emotion is still here.
CASSIUS 4EVER
I love you so
Last night at the Olympia, alone on stage, sharing our music and our story with you, I felt my friend with me again.
It was like a journey back in time, carried by all the love you gave me.
This morning, I woke up feeling peaceful and grateful, happy that he could see it from wherever he is.
Now it’s my turn to send that love back to you.
I love you so.

An extremely special remix is out today. Remixing a legendary group like Cassius is already quite something, but this particular one happens to be the very last song featuring my friend Zdar, who most of you know passed in 2019. Hubert / Boombass is keeping Cassius alive, and I couldn’t have been more honoured when he asked me to remix this one. Have a listen! Legends never die! 🤍
We are thrilled and honoured to welcome the legendary Boombass of the genre-defining French Touch duo Cassius to our marathon Paris function on May 7th, where will be filming a special final set to broadcast to the world.
Sign up for priority access to final tickets at the link in bio – on sale Friday 3rd April at 12pm CET.

Hubert Blanc-Francard from Cassius shares the story behind the much-loved house anthem, ‘Feeling For You’ 🌟
Joining us at DJ Mag’s HQ, Hubert Boombass relives his childhood years, recalling fond memories of times spent with his father in the studio, where his love for music began. He also takes us back to his early productions in French hip-hop, which achieved international success with La Funk Mob, a project in collaboration with the late Philip Zdar.
The duo later teamed up again to form Cassius, swapping hip-hop for sample-heavy, upbeat house music. ‘Feeling For You’ was exactly that, taking a Gwen McRae sample, speeding it up, and laying it over an irresistible groove. The track was featured on their debut album 1999.
Zdar tragically passed away in 2019. In the interview, Blanc-Francard speaks about coping with grief, and finding the strength to carry on with the Cassius project in honour of 30 years of friendship and music.

DANCE ON - LAST SINGLE
The tickets for three special Cassius shows are on sale. Paris, London, and New York. These three cities shaped our beginnings and our musical journey, and we’re celebrating the close of a long adventure.
After 25 years exploring electronic music with Philippe, ‘Dance On’ is the last track we made together. Unreleased until now, it’ll be online at midnight to celebrate this special moment.
I’ll tell you more tomorrow ❤️
