Last week, Julia and Frank visited David at Cassilis Constructions in Nar Nar Goon.
Cassilis Constructions work with some of Victoria's finest architects providing natural materials and traditional practices for high-end builds.
Davidās own home says everything about how he builds. Timber throughout, a rammed earth main home and a commitment to doing things properly. Traditional methods, natural materials and a head carpenter who has spent nearly a decade alongside him, learning the craft the right way.
They sat in Davidās kitchen, drinking coffee and chatting all things Hydrowood
David and his team have fallen in love with Myrtle and are excited to introduce the product to their clients.

When the aim is to disappear into the surrounds, itās a good challenge, especially with 2 storeys.
Conversely, this build has its own character even though itās built with recycled materials referenced from the original structure that sat here, a horse stable.
Itās also a celebration of its surrounds so the journey to the upper level, in the tree tops is a fun one.
