We are thrilled to announce that we are having our own booth at @the_whisky_fair Limburg starting this year! 🥃 You can find us in the Grand Hall alongside @yamaokahideo and @whisky_mew . We will be pouring drams of our new collaboration bottling- the Tomatin (Inuyasha anime label). Several other new releases will also be available throughout the weekend. Come say hello and share a dram with us next weekend! Can’t wait to see you there in 10 days. P.S. Regarding the Tomatin Inuyasha bottle: full bottles are available exclusively via ballot in Japan through the Whisky Mew website (Japanese address required). Our posts are usually filled with the latest drams or the familiar faces of Richard and Winnie at whisky shows. But today, the spotlight shifts to our "man-at-the-back," the relatively "silent" partner Louie, who just achieved something remarkable. 🎉㊗️ Louie was spending his weekend in Morocco 🇲🇦 conquering the 40th Edition MDS (Marathon des Sables) Legendary, widely considered the toughest race on Earth. He crossed the finish line within 65 hours which included: - 270km across the Sahara Desert within 6 Stages (7 Days) 🏜 - 100km completed within 40h at one go through day and night, the longest and most brutal Stage 4 🏃🏻‍♂️🌄🌌 - Carrying own food and gear on the back for the whole journey - Fighting with extreme weather, soaring heat, shifting dunes, leg-destroying soft sand and rocky plateaus. ⛺️⛰🥵 An achievement like this demands pure mental and physical resilience, backed by months of incredibly disciplined training. We spend our days talking about the "meaning" of whisky and our philosophy of "quality over quantity" at Cask Le Sens. Louie just showed us the true meaning of human spirit and took our commitment to excellence to another new level. We could not be prouder to have this legend at our back.
