I recently returned from a few weeks in Italy with family. A trip equal parts beautiful and heavy—my Zia’s return home for, maybe, the last time.
Venice to Umbria to Rome. Arches, color, texture everywhere. Long meals, a lot of wine, details around every corner. Did I mention the wine??
Recently added a Fuji to my camera collection and I’ve been impressed with its low-light performance. I’ve loved this building since I was a kid. For some reason, I used to think those porthole windows meant all the dry cleaning in NYC got sent here.
They’ve really figured out landscaping in Japan. I loved looking at these trees and how they prop up long branches, it gives the sense of working with nature instead of owning it.
New project with @tunaarchitecture !
@dogtown_nyc is located on Christopher st. in the West Village. Really well designed space (plus I had a great time hanging with dogs while shooting it). I am also excited to share that the project can be seen published in @archpaper ! Link in bio.
