1. It’s not “my” business, it’s His. Everything I have is from God, even the ability to create art with my hands. I treat God as my business partner, and I talk with Him before decisions are made. 2. Pray before every order. I’ve noticed a significant difference when I start with prayer versus when I don’t. With prayer, I’m reminded I’m tuning into God’s wisdom and can create confidently. Without it, I feel stressed and overwhelmed. 3. Keep the vision for the business. It takes faith to start, but it takes even more faith to keep moving forward in the direction the Lord is leading. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.” Hebrews 11:6 4. Do everything with a spirit of excellence. I never give half effort, I give my all in every order. From admin work, to communicating with customers, to baking and delivery, there are no shortcuts. 5. Always look for ways to improve. From the beginning, my goal has been to get better with every order.
