Five years ago today we wrapped principal photography on our film @blackwhiteandthegreys Our goal was to tell a sincere, heartfelt story that invoked open and honest discourse about the tough topics of 2020. The film premiered in the winter of 2022, and went on to win 10 awards on the festival circuit, along with a 100% score on @rottentomatoes One critic wrote, “It seems like mini eras of history have one quintessential movie that best captures and speaks to their time period… Black White and the Greys can be the champion for the pandemic era.”

This film is 🍌’s. Wild, uncomfortable, taboo, controversial, thought provoking, polarizing, unexpected, and sometimes brilliant. Definitely not for everyone, but I’ve never seen anything like it. And it’s refreshing to see filmmakers and artists pushing the envelope in 2026. I loved it, but I doubt I’ll ever watch it again. I can’t recommend it, but I can’t stop thinking about it. Pattinson has blossomed into one of the best actors of his generation. And I’ll watch anything Borgli directs. @a24@thedrama
