Most know I left Channel 4 in the summer and before I did I helped make their first brand partner Ai advert for @spiritstudiosuk . I realised how incredible it was to get an idea off the page and into the wild SO QUICKLY. I became obsessed. And now I’m starting my own creative studio blending brand storytelling with.. yep you guessed it.. ai.
Yep it feels cringe, but as someone told me, if something feels cringe it usually means you’re onto something. (I hope).
Here’s to the start of my journey and absolutely f’cking backing myself. If you know anyone who wants to collab or work together…

The tools question comes up constantly when I’m doing @studio_ru_ldn workshops, or from friends… or even from people just starting to figure out where to even begin with all of this.
The way we work is evolving so fast that whatever I tell you today might look different in six months. But that’s also kind of the point. We’re all figuring it out as we go, and the best thing you can do is just start somewhere.
So here are five tools I actually use and would genuinely recommend right now, depending on what you’re trying to do.

Gen AI has been mostly built, trained, and prompted by the same demographic.
And the output shows it… Smooth. Young. Skinny.
Every one of these images took deliberate pushing to make. Adding key words because otherwise the tools just default to perfect.
Who holds the prompt and tools matters as much as what’s in it.

Adobe Firefly has a new AI assistant built into the creative suite, which means the tools your clients already use are getting smarter whether they’re ready or not.
And OpenAI is moving into ad revenue, which tells you everything about where this is heading commercially.
The pace is relentless. But honestly? This is exactly why we exist. So you don’t have to keep up with all of it. We do that bit for you.
