“Do right. Do your best. Treat others the way you want to be treated.” — Thank you, Coach. You were a role model and an absolute legend. We’re gonna miss you. 🏈🙏
Thank you to Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo, my fellow mamas, and health leaders from across our state for joining me to discuss how our Healthy Florida First initiative is working to provide transparency and accountability for our food industry.
The states have the opportunity to be force multipliers to the federal MAHA movement—we look forward to leading the charge in the Free State of Florida.
Today, Surgeon General Ladapo and I heard from moms who are struggling to find pediatricians willing to treat their children because of vaccine status.
These stories highlight why Florida must keep standing strong for parental rights and medical freedom.
As part of our “Healthy Florida First” initiative, today @healthy_fla announced evidence of elevated levels of arsenic in popular candies.
These levels are problematic, especially for children when examining consumption levels over the course of a year.
Florida is working to proactively test the food supply to help raise awareness of potentially harmful chemicals in food.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting with the Statewide Guardian ad Litem CHAMPIONS — Great to see young leaders sharing their story of success and advocating for kids across the state!
Proud to flip the switch with @flgovrondesantis at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville to launch the ONLY carbon ion therapy program in the Western Hemisphere. This innovative cancer therapy was made possible, in part, through funding from the Casey DeSantis Cancer Research Program. It’s a big deal for not only the First Coast, but the state of Florida, and the nation. Congratulations Mayo Clinic!
The Governor’s Floridians First Budget proposes more than $278 million for cancer care and innovation — a historic investment.
This includes a $10 million increase for the Cancer Connect Collaborative Research Incubator — which has an initial focus on pediatric cancer. Florida continues to lead the fight against cancer, bringing hope to families across our state.
As we celebrate this day of gratitude, we’re reminded of the countless blessings we share and the wonderful people who make Florida such a special place to call home. Sending our warmest wishes for a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.
