I play drums and bass guitar on this record. Recorded during a very low point in my life, these sessions were somewhat of a beacon and buoy for me. I took great pleasure in writing bass to these songs that were mostly all @_amrcs songs we’d been playing for years as a two piece with no bass. I’m proud of how good, fucked up, and ugly it sounds in places because of the addition of the bass guitar. It’s very satisfying. Who knew?? Obviously the biggest no-brainer addition to a drums & guitar duo, but exciting new terrain for Trav and I. A long time coming. Recording with Chris is always a blast and super easy. Loved meeting, hanging, and getting to know Scott. Matthew was super nice, accommodating, and patient with me. Thanks everyone for the lovely responses to these songs so far. New songs in the works. We’ll play some shows soon.

Totally a thrill, an honor and a pleasure to have worked on and contributed to what I believe is Baths’ finest, strongest work yet. I also think it’s his gayest album, which I’m also very proud of.
