Two posts in one week?? Uncharted territory for me. Anyways, congrats Em! So happy for you and Jordan!
(Swipe to see if you can guess which of the boys are adopted lmaoo)
My Grandad was born back in 1926. This guy grew up in the middle of nowhere, during the Great Depression. He was always quick to remind me not to complain about my situation, because he knew it could’ve been much much worse. As soon as he was eligible, he was drafted during WW2 and was shipped off to Japan. When he got back, he would get lunch at the same place everyday just to talk to this girl he liked. Eventually, it paid off because he convinced her to marry him. After they got the kids out the house, Grandad dove into his hobby (Rose bushes) and at its height, his yard had about 250 rose bushes planted in it. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone (unless they had a tattoo, face piercing, or died their hair)🤣. He NEVER missed any Clemson or Braves game’s, it’s almost poetic that he passed away while the Braves were playing (they won the game too btw, & I’m convinced he had something to do with that). But I’m damn happy I got to be around this great human for 22 years of my life. I just wanted to brag a little bit about how great a person he was. Also, everyone’s got that person that they like calling or visiting, but just don’t get around to it that often. Make time to see them, because you don’t know when you’ll have the chance to do it again.

Excited/scared as hell to see what the next chapter holds. HUGE shoutout to my parents for the sacrifices they’ve made to get me this far!
