It was an honor attending the artist talk @sulodcocktailbar , learning more about Massa’s journey and creative philosophy, and connecting with some dope people doing meaningful work across culture and community! Special shoutout to Kareem El of @4rlapp , a platform centered around intentional real-world connection and bringing people together through shared experiences and community engagement. In a time where so much happens digitally, it’s refreshing seeing people intentionally creating spaces for authentic human connection IRL🤝 Also great connecting with Lyss of @creativekickbackdmv and @sdb_elite ! Love seeing people continue to build bridges across art, culture, wellness, tech, nightlife, and community. It’s #MentalHealthMonday, and creativity hits different when it meets identity 🧠🎨✨We officially kicked off our Created2Create Creative Wellness Series at @ccpcspetworth and this first session set the tone in a real way. “How to Blend Color vs. How to Blend in Society” was about perspective, just as much as it was about painting. Our youth explored I AM affirmations, learning how to feel grounded in who they are so they don’t feel pressured to shrink, follow, or fit into spaces that were never designed for their full expression. This was about choosing confidence over conformity, and understanding when to adapt and when to stand out boldly. Huge shoutout to visual arts facilitator @dunnietheartist for leading with intention through visual art, guiding students through color, fluidity, and self-expression with care and creativity. 🎨 And major love to therapist @seetonesmile for holding space with powerful, thought-provoking conversations around identity, belonging, and the real-life moments where we all feel that tension between blending in and standing out 🧠💬 Grateful to Jordan, Principal Devin, and the Center City PCS team for trusting us to pour into your students in such a meaningful way.
