They believed in me when I was just an annoying little kid singing all hours of the day and night up and down the halls… and they believe in me now as a bigger, still annoying kid singing all hours of the day and night.
They’ve loved me better than I ever deserved. I’ll never get tired of those “let me know when you get there” txts. God made them to be mamas. And they make it look easy. Happy Mother’s Day to you Mom and Sis.
And to all the other women who’ve shown up for me along the way... my stepmom Lori, all of my aunts, teachers, and mentors who’ve given me love and support... thank you. It takes a special kind of love to soften the callous around a man’s heart. I’m living proof that it’s the love of these women. Happy Mother’s Day.
