These past couple months have been absolutely wild. It’s always been my dream to be on a tour like this, so seeing that come to fruition has been a bit surreal. Special thanks to @nicksage23 for bringing me into the team and @stepato for being such an easy engineer to work with and putting out such an incredible mix night after night.
Not going to lie, the past few weeks have not been the easy return to touring I’ve been dreaming of for the past 12 months. Jumping in to 12 straight days on was a pretty aggressive reminder of how challenging this job is, but despite hitting a new level of exhaustion, I feel so lucky to be working again and to be doing it with some of the most talented and dedicated people I’ve ever met. Now everyone get your freaking vaccine so we can go back to playing air conditioned venues
Today I am thankful. Thankful for a job I love, thankful to be surrounded by a tour family that supports and loves me, thankful to be on a crew with two amazing people (@hwtilestoniv@j_oshcruz ) who constantly go above and beyond to make everyone’s lives easier, thankful for @stephaniesoutier for constantly supporting and grounding me regardless of what state (mentally/physically) or time zone I’m in and for @marycarolinerussell for being so intentional about capturing the behind the scenes moments that are seldom recognized. Here’s to 23 and another year of learning
